Mechanical Engineer – Fluid Systems
FUELAB is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer

Primary Goal: To lead all aspects of product engineering design, development, testing and release into production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a team environment as the lead engineer
- Manage product development from initial concept to production release
- Help establish effective SOP’s used by production to achieve quality results at each stage of product development
- Develop and maintain tooling and fixtures to improve production and efficiency.
- Write all technical content to support new and existing product including product assembly and use instructions
- Update and maintain all drawings
- Work with outside vendors to support product development and improvement
- Attend trade shows and motorsports events when required
Education:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in mechanical design
- Strong Knowledge of 3D modeling using SolidWorks
- Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Technical writing skills
- Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView etc)
- Working knowledge of electronics, PCB design, software
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with teammates, vendors and customers.
- Must be able to set goals and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary teamwork towards the meeting of company goals

- Salary Range $65,000-$75,000
